U-Pull & Pay Field Trip

Postby Popeye304 » Thu Oct 16, 2008 6:45 pm

I'm heading out to Pull & Pay Saturday morning if anyone wants to go with... I'm pulling an alternator from an Oldsmobile Intrigue or another GM 3.8L.

Which one? jetstream drive? Its 7 min from my house, I was going to do either the lawn or replace my brakes...that might be a fun distraction.

Oooh! Ooooh! Pick me!

I'm sure I can find a wrecked F150 or seven to swipe parts from. I don't know what I need other than to grab up a handful of fuses and maybe the door lock actuators. Or whatever you call the parts that make the locks actually go up and down since mine do not work properly.

Give me a call tomorrow and let's make a plan. I'm up for it!

Jetstream... there's a bunch of F-150's there according to the website.
I was thinking of pulling out of the driveway around 7... 7:30 Dave does that sound good? Brian should we call when we get to Pull & Pay?

Alright. I'll be the stupid looking guy in the front driveway with the old clothes on.

With a thumb out....

Gotta get to bed and get some rest for this expedition.

Yeah give me a call when you're on your way/15 min out/getting there - whichever you remember :). I decided that since my girl got up that I couldn't get back to sleep...so umm...yeah 430 and I'm up :). I have no idea what they have, don't think I need anything - but WTF, it should be fun. I'll plan on being there around 730/8 - I'm close enough.

Hey Freaky, if nothing else, it's always fun to walk around and see what they have. Even if you don't need anything.

Dave,

Can you forward to me that photo you took of the Pontiac El Camino we saw at Pull & Pay... I have a guy interested in it.

Oooh! Better yet, I'll message it to you from the phone.

How about this? 69 Chevy 3/4 ton two wheel drive. Fourteen bolt full floater rear end AND a four barrel 350. It is missing the carb, though.

wow, american cars were really, really crappy back then, Complete embarrassment to their former glory of the 50s/60s. A fate so terrible they are just now recovering from it, perhaps too late.
